Hello! Our daughter is 8 and she is autistic. She is very happy, silly, & loves to sing. She is minimally communicative & is currently learning how to use an AAC device. (She uses a lot of scripting or gestalt language.) She is not independently using the bathroom yet & will need someone experienced/comfortable in caregiving for special needs. Her older sister is 14 (does not need care) & will be there to assist as well, but can't care for her on her own for that long of a duration yet. Job is for a weekday night on Tuesday, October 17th. We will be out at an event & need care from approx 4:00 pm-potentially 12 or so, depending on how long it takes to drive home. We will have food prepared, but light prep (microwave, etc) may be needed. Bedtime routine involved as well, we will provide all the details for that. Thank you for reading!

We need a respite provider for our son . Would sign up as preferred provider. Son has Fragile X syndrome and needs similar care to a toddler, but is super cooperative and mainly requires food prep and supervision . We do have dogs, so please consider that when applying.

My mom likes to stay active but needs a chaperone. Her assisted living facility takes a group on the bus to a lunch outing every other Wednesday. She needs someone to help with menu choices, making payment, and walking around the restaurant and surrounding area. On the alternating Wednesdays, we would like you to take her for a walk at a local wilderness trail or shopping district. She is very active for her age but is experiencing memory loss.

Our 8-year-old loves Pokemon, Harry Potter, superheroes (Marvel), and Star Wars. He enjoys reading, playing video games and board games. Our 4-year-old loves playing with toys, his big brother, and rough housing. Both boys love music and dancing around. They also love swimming in our pool and playing with our Irish Setter Griffey. Our 4-year-old is potty training so he needs frequent trips to the bathroom and help getting on and off the toilet. He also is working on speaking clearer but can be hard to understand and gets frustrated if you don't know what he's talking about. Our 8-year-old needs help with ideas for activities. He's not the kid to go and do his own thing without encouragement or suggestions. Even then, he'd rather be where you are and interacting with people. Patience and understanding of a couple boys who love playing with each other. Someone who knows when the play is getting too rough and can redirect. We would love for our caregiver to be comfortable with large dogs, as we do have an Irish Setter and would prefer if he was allowed to be with you and the boys while babysitting. He can be crated during meals or activities where he would be in the way. We have a large driveway with plenty of parking space. We have a dog, Griffey is a 2-year-old Irish Setter. He is a sweetheart who has been through extensive dog training. He is beeper trained, meaning he responds to a beep noise if he is getting into something he shouldn't or going somewhere we don't want him to go. He also has a Halo collar that keeps him from getting into trouble outside. He's very friendly and just wants to be where the boys are. He has never shown any aggression. He is extremely food motivated so keeping people food away from him is important.

I am looking for a sitter 12 hours a week and different hours based on your availability and my needs! Would love to talk if you think this could be a fit.

About who needs care: Very mellow man with advanced Parkinsonism. He has issues with mobility, but can stand and use his walker with assistance.
