About who needs care: Recent fall resulted in a brain bleed and a fractured hand. His mobility is lessened than it was prior to this fall. He needs assistance with ADL's and mobility. Additionally, he has moderate Alzheimer's disease. An ideal day would include a morning and afternoon walk or getting outside to sit. 3 meals and watching TV or movies. About the care needs: The person needs to be able to speak clear enough English to be understood. They need to be able to speak loudly enough to be understood. This person also must be able to help my loved one to maintain as much independence as possible while also being firm enough to not let him do something unsafe (like go for a walk unassisted). Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.

Our First grader loves sports and play, currently into basketball and soccer. He also loves to sing and listen to music. He is showing interest in playing the piano although a proper lesson with a piano teacher is still in the works! We limit tablet use and video games for the weekend. We prefer reading and some workbook or homework activity. But we also love play! Boy is interested in sports, basketball and soccer is a favorite. He needs help with homework, and staying focused and less distractions (toys, tv, video games) til homework is done. Patience and creative would be wonderful and helpful for the energetic boy. We have a parking garage as own transportation is required for pick up in school. No pets at home.

Our first baby (girl) is due on August 26th. We live in Martinez, CA and are excited to start our family. We are looking for a full-time long term nanny to begin roughly mid-January 2024 (the baby will be about 4-5 months.) We understand that is months away, but we wanted to begin looking now to help reduce stress later. Our work schedules are a hybrid of working from home and being in the office (so most days we may be home working).
