I am gone completely on Monday for 12 hours. she will need some help - going to bathroom, meds, food for a few hours. later in week she might need help to get to physical therapy (water therapy). Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.

We are looking for a kind, interested companion for my Aunt in Galveston. She has the the beginnings of Alzheimer's, so we are looking for someone who has experience with this. My Aunt needs to be prompted to take her medication. We are looking for someone to ideally provide companionship, take her to the shops, to doctors appointments, arrange a few fun outings as well - so the career should have a car. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker.

I have 2 cats that are very skittish of strangers and will probably hide. I have a lot of tile flooring with area rugs. The bedrooms have vinyl flooring and each has an area rug. So would be quite a bit of vacuuming and mopping. I can supply everything if you have any special requests that you like to use just let me know. The furniture in the living room will need vacuuming as well as the dining chairs where my cats play and leave hair.
