Seeking substitute instructional tutor for a 8th grade verbal student with down syndrome in a private school. Tutoring will take place on campus at the private school in a designated tutoring space. Hours are M-F 10am-12 p.m. This is a substitute position for the following dates: 10/16-10/30/2023 and 12/6-12/18/2023. Duties: Guide implementing educational goals. Use positive reinforcement strategies and other techniques to assist student in the development of appropriate behavior. Assists student in developing independent and basic social skills. Assist student with toileting. Assist student to problem solve, stay engaged and involved. Modify and accommodate daily academic as needed. Hourly rate based on experience from $25 to $40.

Move dirty/clean dishes to/from dishwasher. Light cleaning of kitchen and one bathroom. Dust and Vacuum the 800 sq. ft. condo. Our ideal caregiver will be: Female, cheerful, strong, self-managed, cat-loving, has car, and lives within 6 miles of Laguna Woods. I can visit weekly to advise. We would prefer a nanny who does not smoke, who is comfortable with pets, who is CPR certified and who has college degree. The job would basically drive my son to school and then pick him up and take him to a park until it is dinner time at 5 p.m. Then you would come back home with him, feed him and help with both my son and my daughter at home until bathtime at 7. The schedule will be split - 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. then back at 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. You can use your vehicle or we have one you can use too for work.
