We've had some challenges with our 12-year-old not coming straight home after school. I'm looking for someone who can either supervise her boarding the 72/72m/72R bus at 3:30 or drive her home from uptown Oakland (at Oakland School for the Arts) at that time. We'd like to pay $60/week for 4 days/week (M, Tu, Th, F).

Clean two bedrooms, 2. 5 bathrooms, kitchen and living rooms. Two cats in the home.

We are looking for a great nanny for 1 child in Emeryville. We would prefer someone who could help out with curriculum and structuring activities. We would prefer a nanny who has their own car and can come to our house in Emeryville.

Emeryville family needs a full-time tutor for English, Math, Science. Our son is a gifted 3. 5-year-old who can already sight read and do basic math. He needs some professional tutoring in these areas, and he is interested in space and geography as well.

We are looking for a fun and experienced nanny/tutor for a gifted 3-year-old boy. Ideally nanny would have experience teaching reading, writing and basic addition. Our son is a very well behaved and loving boy who showed an early aptitude for reading and memorization. Examples are that he can recite the 50 states in alphabetical order and also point to the names of each state on the map. We have all teaching materials needed at our home. Our son is in school until 4:30, so ideally we are looking for someone to come from 5-7 on weekdays and a flexible time on one weekend day if possible for a few hours.

San Francisco family needs a tutor for a Pre-K to practice Letter and number tracing, reading books and painting

We are looking for a loving and caring nanny / part-time house manager to join our family of four in January 2024. We have 2 boys (2 and 4 years old) and live in Noe Valley, San Francisco. The ideal candidate will be loving, high-energy, flexible and supportive of a play-based method with kids (e. g. supports independent play, exploration and imagination, lots of reading books, time in nature etc). Looking for an occasional babysitter to care for 9-year-old girl. Would like to have someone who we know and can call for evening date nights.

About who needs care: He is 99, will be 100 in March. He is very deaf but has a device that helps him hear if you speak slowly. He is nearly blind but has a digital reader so he can read the New York Times. He reads all day. He was a well-known icon in SF, a writer. He is cognitively 95%, can be very entertaining. He has chronically low sodium so needs to salt his foods, and eat/drink consistently. He gets Meals. He is weak and fatigued, and falls because his balance is poor. He has friends who visit, usually mid to late afternoon. Ideally a caregiver would come at 11 or 12 for 2-3 hours, 3 times a week. Flexibility a plus since he has doctor appointments in the afternoon sometimes. About the care needs: He would enjoy someone who reads books. Especially literature, and someone who doesn't mind this former English teacher correcting your grammar. He has a very hard time with accents (his hearing) so a good English speaker would be ideal. He likes young women, and can be flirtatious, but since he will need help with bathing, a mature woman or a man might be better. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
