We are looking for an as-needed babysitter in Campbell to provide sensitive, loving care for a 2-yr-old girl and energetic 5-yr-old boy. Babysitting would typically occur once every 1-2 weeks, but could occasionally be multiple times a week. Hours would typically include 2-5 hours between 2pm-9 p.m. Duties include light meal prep & clean up, outside time, engaging in activities like bike rides, playgrounds, arts and crafts, painting, games, creating forts or obstacle courses. The right candidate will have a fun, energetic, upbeat personality, enjoy nature (including bugs and reptiles), and have experience caring for young children and setting limits with love. Prior education or experience in child development, preschool, paraeducation, or early childhood education is a plus but not required.

We are looking for an after-school sitter to pick up our two daughters (9 and 12) after school, to drive them to and from various after-school activities, and to help them with their homework and chores. The kids are both fairly independent and very fun--they just need someone to help them them stay on-task, provide academic support, and get them to and from sports and other activities. The sitter will need to provide their own car, and we will pay mileage at the federal rate (0. 65/mile), in addition to hourly wages and three days paid sick leave. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred because the kids attend a dual immersion school and have homework in both languages.

The primary responsibilities will be to care for our son. Very light housework would be requested such as cleaning the baby's laundry, nursery, toys, and bottles. Ultimately, we are looking for a nanny who will love and care for our son. We want you to feel like a part of our family. Our family wouldn't be complete without our small dog. He's an 11-year-old Maltese mix (non-shedding). He's extremely sociable like our son and loves to show you his tricks. If he's not following you around the house, you'll find him napping on the couch.

Maya and Milo are a bonded pair and are about 3. 5 years old. Maya is friendly and curious, often following new people around the house and constantly trying to figure out how to climb inside the printer. She particularly likes to hang out in the kitchen, and will yell to be picked up so she can watch the action (but is not allowed on the counters). Milo is much more calm and shy. He does not like being approached by people, but will come to you if you ignore him for long enough. He prefers to be in the same room as people but watch the action from afar. He also has about a 10-15 minute period each morning where he will beg for tummy scritches from whoever he finds first. They are indoor only cats with access to an enclosed catio and occasional supervised outside time with harnesses.
