Hello, Our family is looking to hire a caretaker for our grandmother. Preferably someone who can be live in Monday - Friday. If not, at least someone who can do an 8 or 12 hour day Mon - Fri. We need someone comfortable with the following: - dressing her - administering her medications - companionship - light housekeeping - helping with her meals - CPR Certified - dementia - seizures - helping her to the bathroom - shower She is 85 years old. We'd like to keep her comfortable in her own home as long as possible. If you speak Spanish, that's a plus. I am looking for someone to work 2-4 times a week overnight for 8 hours (times can be flexible) to care for my 10year-old son, who was born with a neurological disorder, called Polymicrogyria. He is non-verbal and non-mobile. He is completely tube fed, and is currently on oxygen. He has a seizure disorder and is on numerous seizure meds. You would be required to administer food and meds via his feeding tube, monitor his oxygen saturation and vitals, monitor his seizure activity, and orally suction his secretions when needed.
