I am looking for somebody to help with my delightful/professional husband who has Parkinson's Disease. Currently, I work 24-hour shifts and am looking for somebody dependable to stay with him ~4 x month (24hrs) for safety reasons for mobility (can walk if meds working) and hallucinations/delusions at times in evenings and night - also some days - 1-2 x week 6-8 hours for my respite, During the night he may need to get up 1-3 times to bathroom or bedside urinal. Important - experience with prompting/administering medication. Additional responsibilities include light meal preparation, light housekeeping, and providing companionship and social interaction. We ask that you handle transportation as needed (exercise classes at the youth organization or PT appts. Caregiver must be a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained and have great sense of humor!

Our just-turned 2-year-old has a shy, quiet temperament and it takes a while for him to warm up to new people and places. He is very attached to Mama and Dada so we'd need someone to help him cope with separation anxiety in a positive way. He is so smart, but has trouble communicating sometimes. He loves books, toy vehicles, blocks, and pretend play. He also LOVES being outside! He's not really into getting his hands messy, except while eating. He craves order and routine. We are a vegan household, we have a cat, we limit screen time, and we have a Montessori-inspired positive parenting style. Schedule would just be an occasional, as-needed basis with plenty of notice beforehand (think occasional weekend lunch dates or date evenings a couple times a month). Later on, the schedule could evolve into something more regular.

We are looking to hire someone for spring break to watch our 6-year-old son. This would ideally work as a trial run for a more permanent summertime position. Our ideal candidate will need to make breakfast and lunch for our son and some snacks throughout the day. Being comfortable around dogs is a must as we have three who will need to go out to go potty occasionally. Must have reliable transportation and be on time each day. We also have an inside bunny and outdoor chickens but you would not be responsible for doing anything with them. Plenty of privacy and space to study/work from home. I am a retired educator. I would prefer live in support . This opportunity would be perfect for someone who is in need of safe, quality housing and part time work. The role would be one of companionship and supervision for my husband. I remain active in the community volunteering and do some traveling and while I have the support of friends and family... it is not always enough.
