About who needs care: I need help with my Mother and Step Father My mother is 72 and has just been diagnosed with metastatic cancer and it is not treatable. She is still mobile with a walker. Would need someone to help heat meals, do laundry, wash dishes, medication reminders, a person to talk to, etc. The level of care needs will most likely increase with time. My step father is 79 and has COPD and emphysema. He is able to get to the restroom with the use of his cane. He has fallen in the past. He would need someone to be there in case he falls, medication reminders, and to heat up a meal. His level of care needs will most likely increase with time. About the care needs: My Mom loves Horses, Rodeo, and worked in retail most her life. My Step Father is a Veteran and was in the Marines. He is use to be a woodworker. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
