Our son is profoundly injured from an accidental electrocution in his senior year of college. Even though he is in a wheelchair He requires: range of motion, transfers to and from the wheel chair, mat, easy stand, bed, and bath, tube feedings, insulin shots, nebulizer treatments, suctioning, standing on an easy stand, fun activities and interaction.
He seems to understand what is said and likes to be talked to not about. we are trying to help him improve not watch him get worse.
It is hard work, but very rewarding. He is non combative and smiles, cry's and laughs appropriately.
Caregiver must have up to date flu and cover shots, reliable transportation, a non smoker, willingness to work hard under female management, committed and reliable.
All care will be taught even to someone with years of experience.
