Grandma normally watches our son, but will be out for two months recovering from surgery. Once grandma is fully recovered, she will return to watching our son. My husband and I work from approximately 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday. We currently work remotely several days a week, so at least one of us will always be home during the day. There is a chance that once grandma is feeling a little better, our son goes to her house one or two days a week so grandpa can help out while grandma finishes recovering.
