We would prefer a nanny who has their own car, who does not smoke and who is CPR certified. About who needs care: Wife has Lewy Body Dementia, suffers delusional thoughts, hallucinations majority of the time. No issues with getting physical. She currently is bed only and feeding, bathing, dressing, and toileting is handled while she is in the bed. We do have a Hoyer Lift if needed. She likes to watch old movies, listen to music, and some news shows. She can respond to a conversation but may not be a coherent response. Person would handle bathing, dressing, bedding change etc., morning meal and snacks, I normally handle cooking dinner for both of us. Any help with washing/drying would be great. Some light help with general cleaning of our 2 bedroom condo. I'm normally available if needed, I still handle some business work and also have a daughter and 2 grandkids locally I spend time with when possible. About the care needs: skilled at handling patient needs in a bed environment, be kind and patient. Must be dependable and have some flexibility on the hours on occasionally. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.

Hi. We are in need of another skilled caretaker to assist 3 others with the shift schedule of daily care for my wife Judy (79) who is in Hospice for ALS. Experience caring for invalid patients is important. The daily routine consists of morning (9-12), afternoon (3-4), and evening (6-8) interactions that include: Hoyer lift usage for toilet use and location changes (to/from bed to a daytime chair), light movement for the arms and hands, light meal prep (liquid diet) and feeding, and light bathing. There are other caretakers involved with this 3-times daily routine, but we need another caretaker to help cover shifts in this schedule (in case somebody becomes unavailable). Judy is paralyzed by ALS and uses an eye gaze speech device to communicate her needs. Located near Hoadly Rd. and Dumfries Rd.

Hello! I am an expecting mom with my first child, who's due date is in December. I'm seeing a nanny who could help take care of our daughter from around 8-9 a.m. to 2-3 p.m. during the week. I work from home for the most part and my husband is normally home by 3 p.m. each day. I'm anticipating taking at least 3 months of maternity leave, but hopefully closer to 4, so the start date is a little flexible. At the moment, we do not know of any specific care she might need health-wise. My mom is nearby and has every other Friday off as well, so there is flexibility for vacations, appointments, etc. We do have two cats and a dog, so someone who is not allergic or scared of animals is needed. You would not be expected to take care of them in anyway.

Scoping out some options for January-February of 2024 as Im currently expecting. Ill be transitioning from a part time to full time work from home job and need some care in the afternoon and evening to help me through. Caregiver should be up to date on vaccinations (Covid mandatory) and able to provide proof. I would also be interested in any caregiver who is trained in/familiar with the RIE approach. Hoping to have some help with bottle feeds/changing and some light housekeeping and meal prep.
