Looking for a caregiver for my young adult daughter w/ special needs. (30-40hrs/wk) Schedule is flexible and varies as I'm a nurse and only work a few days per week. Workdays range 7a-3p or 7a-5p 3 days/wk. Additional hrs. are for errands, grocery shopping, a night out, etc. Current caregiver's say, "job is more like being a big sister or best friend". Our daughter stroked at 5 which is where her disabilities originated. She is super outgoing, chatty, and LOVES having a caregiver as she says its her "girls day", Everyone that has ever met her, loves her. She uses a wheelchair for going out but walks with a cane inside and short distances (w/ assistance). She is not 100% age appropriate (cognitively), she lost the ability to use her right hand as a result of the stroke so she needs assistance w ADL's. We look forward to hearing from you!
