I am a full-time firefighter. I work 24 hours on and 48 hours off. My shift is from noon to noon. My wife is finishing school and will be working in the next few months. Due to my schedule, we would need childcare in the afternoons or the mornings. Usually not both (full days). We currently have family that lives 30 minutes away to help, but we would like to have someone close as well.

Two parent home seeks a lively, joyous nanny to look after our daughter during normal business hours. Mom works at home but wants help, and we cant do daycare. We do not have strict and specific rules, but we do expect that all house rules are enforced. Were new to all this, so we are simply looking for someone who will provide structure but not go overboard.

We are first time parents who both work full time. We do have the luxury of working from home a few days a week so we would only need care 2 days a week with the occasional day added on here and there if needed and will grow with time. At this time she will still be bottle fed so all you will have to do is heat up milk at feeding time, change diapers, and put her down for naps. We do also have a pit bull which you will not have to care for but he will need to be comfortable with you so you must be a dog person as he's a cuddle and I'm sure will want to be everywhere baby is once she's here (he can be protective).

About who needs care: She has some mobility issues around transfers from bed to bathroom and generally walking around the house. She is still fully functional, has hearing impairment and some memory issues. Has a pleasant disposition and will work with you to help her. About the care needs: pleasant disposition, sense of humor and someone who can keep herself entertained. Need to be physically able to handle a 140lb person. Services needed include: companionship, and mobility assistance.
