Looking for a full-time caregiver for our 13 Y. O. with Developmental Delays, Mobility Challenges, & Cerebral Palsy in Ann Arbor. I am a stay at home mom so I can offer very flexible scheduling. If working during the week, you would be picking my daughter up from school using our handicapped accessible van. We can offer as many hours as you'd like to work - including weekends. Ideal match is willing to travel with us to our vacation home in Northern Michigan or other trips we may take (Disney, etc). We have a pool in our back yard, so you must be comfortable swimming. Duties would include doing activities with our daughter, helping to shower her, do tube feedings, help with toileting. We can train the right person - experience with this is not necessary. I'm looking for a big heart and a sharp intuition to help me love my little guy. You'll have the freedom to set your own hours. My husband Aaron has stage 4 brain cancer. We have exhausted our treatment options in NYC and have come home to spend the rest of our lives together with friends and family. Aaron cannot be left alone and gets confused, but he is a gentle man. He will have his own nurse, but will frequently ask for me when he needs comfort. Also, sometimes I just need a break. Meanwhile, we have an inquisitive and magical 4-year-old, J. His play therapist says his baseline personality is joy. He rarely acts out, but he is headstrong and mischievous so he needs firm but warm redirection. We are a kind and grateful family. Our NYC mother's helpers will happily recommend us.

I need senior care provider with experience. Our care concerns are: Light Housekeeping, Mobility Assistance, Wound Care, Bathing / Dressing, Heavy Lifting, Errands / Shopping, Transportation. We would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping. Some help needed with bathing. We might ask you to run errands now and then. Duties include transportation (doctor's appointments, errands, etc.).

About who needs care: He has atrial fibrillation/coronary artery disease, chronic respiratory failure due to pulmonary fibrosis (full time oxygen), hypertension, blindness in right eye. historically was a state campion in sporting clays; loves to hunt loves to play euchre, loves to eat (enjoys a good home cooked meal) About the care needs: someone who is very patient; he is experiencing a lot of anxiety as nears end of life and needing to be dependent on others so much. assistance with ambulation, bathing/bathroom, assistance with meals/prepare food, over night stays if able would be ideal to find someone who plays euchre/cards Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.

Has canceled school Monday and Tuesday and moved to virtual school for the remainder of the week. We are in need of someone to watch our daughter on Tuesday and help with zoom school for 1st grade on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. She loves to read, play and enjoys school. She also has a tree nut allergy and has an epipen.
