I am a full time PCT at St Marys Hospital in Livonia. My husband runs his own lawn care business and we will be needing someone to come to our home to watch our daughter for s few hours in the morning/early afternoon 3 days a week, when his lawn care season starts back up Mid April until Mid November. We are looking for a great babysitter for 2 children in Detroit. We would prefer someone who could help out with light housekeeping. We would prefer a babysitter who has their own car, who does not smoke and who is CPR certified.

Our son will be around 3 months at the time we are looking to start care. He is a sweet boy who is serious about meal times and loves a good nap. He enjoys music and being sung to (regardless of vocal talent :)) and loves bath time. As stated in the ideal care section, our caregiver would have an alternating but relatively predictable schedule. Mom works in an "essential field" with 12 hour shifts that alternate every other week (Mon Tues Fri one week then Weds Thurs the next week and it rotates with that same pattern.) Dad works during the week with usual business hours. We would love a caregiver who can adapt to such a schedule and maybe be available for a date night here and there when grandparents are unavailable. Our ideal caregiver: Someone with experience with infants who has patience and is very caring. Also someone seeking a steady schedule with days that alternate every other week. (Ex: Work Monday, Tuesday, Friday one week then Weds Thurs the next then back to Mon, Tues, Fri). Additional needs include having a reliable car, a non-smoker.
