We are giving birth to a little girl who has a serious heart defect and will have open heart surgery within the first few days after birth. We will be in Houston for up to 6 months, if the surgery is successful. We have a 3-year-old son and a border collie. We may need help any day of the week, depending on what is happening at the hospital. Probably will not need 8 hours every day though. Schedule will need to be flexible.

From 3 p.m. to 7 a.m. Need someone to drop him off at school and pick up from bus stop. Help with homework, entertain, take to afternoon activities, make dinner, and help get ready for bed. Also assist with making sure dog has food and water.

I typically leave for a three-day trip each week. This nanny position would require having full parenting responsibility for that three-day time period each week. It would require staying overnight. It would be a full time pay structure. Some months of the year I work less. You would still be paid a minimum monthly amount even if you do not work at all. This is a long-term position.
