Christiansburg family needs a part-time nanny. Nov 7th is the first date right now that we know we will need a sitter. We are looking for someone who can take care of our son on weekdays when there is no school, school vacations (i. e. Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.), and possibly some date nights here and there. We may also attempt to line up an "emergency" sitter if he has to stay home sick from school. We're not sure about summer yet - we may elect to have someone full time then or we may enroll him in a summer-camp type program. We do have pets, so please consider that when applying.

This initial job is to clean both levels of the house, but there may be opportunities to help with recurring cleans. About who needs care: Declining mental health but no formal diagnosis. Recent head injury has exacerbated the issue and will be needing long-term care. About the care needs: Someone who is tolerant of older people and their outdated ways of thinking (I can't think of a nicer way to say it). With his mental faculties declining, we need someone who can be firm but friendly, caring, and compassionate to his situation. Good sense of humor doesn't hurt either. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.

Our family is looking for a full-time caregiver for 2 children starting early January, 2024. You would become the special person to an almost 3-year-old girl, and a4-month-old boy. We would need you to be available M-F 7. 30am-5. 30pm, but on average you would be working 40 hours per week because sometimes we get home early or are away for a day. Our daughter is enrolled in a playgroup 9-12. 30 p.m. 3 days a week which would give you dedicated time to focus on the baby. Help needed for my mother. She is 79 and suffers from dementia. We are seeking full-time live-in home care. The ideal match will meet the requirements below. Medication management for high blood pressure is required. We would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping. We're looking for some help preparing meals. You'll be responsible for transporting to/from appointments, but these are quite minimal. Preferences for a caregiver who is comfortable with pets, willing to feed dog and let him out and in. Student tested in first grade at a 6th grade instructional reading level, but was easily bored and resistant to writing practice. Scored in 72nd percentile for math in quarter 4 of first grade.
