I occasionally have to leave town for work so I'm looking for someone who can help with overnight care as well as taking my son to school and pickup from after school

She has appointments in Vienna, McLean and Ashburn. Usually only once a week, occasionally 3 times a week. Most of the times Friday morning but other days depending upon when things got scheduled. Every now and then a trip to the theater on Saturdays. She uses a portable mobility scooter, but she can navigate from the scooter to the front seat of a larger car without issues. Small cars with limited leg room are challenging. The scooter weighs about 45 pounds, folds up and fits easily in a trunk or back seat. The car must be clean and non-smoking. Occasionally, she might need the driver to help her in the grocery store or pharmacy. She prefers to pay a flat monthly fee. She is VERY generous and is willing to pay for outstanding service.

While my health situation is unique and complex, what I need is quite straightforward. Basically, it boils down to being consistent and empathetic. Open-mindedness is also important since my situation is a bit out there. It can be difficult for me, but I do understand that people have a hard time reconciling the severity of my health issues with the fact that I can appear completely fine on the surface. I'm happy to explain everything and answer any questions. My health issues make typing and household tasks difficult. I also need basic assistance and transportation running errands and getting to doctors' appointments.

Seeking a patient, caring , strong , compassionate and motivational individual to care for my 83-year-old father in law. He will need assistance with meal preparation, feeding, getting out of bed, activities/exercise and grooming. He will need to be supervised to prevent falls. He can walk with a walker.
