I have kept all of my animals very clean, well fed and well groomed. I have also worked as a teacher at two preschools and am great with children. I am BLS CPR Certified (adult/ child and infant). I have been a Nanny through care. com for 12 years. During this time I have also been a fulltime Preschool teacher/Director. I have years of professional and personal experience with children birth to 12. I am CPR certified as well as a certified newborn specialist. I have over 1000 hours of direct early childhood training making that help me with developmentally appropriate activites.

I am free on Monday and Wednesday mornings, Friday, Saturday and Sunday all day. I have references, and I am CPR certified. I have my own transportation, am a non-smoker and I love children. 5 years ago, after being laid off in the casinos and helping to raise my beautiful granddaughter, I started a new chapter in my life, I had no idea God would lead me into so many amazing lives. A brief description of my skills: I have spent the last 5 and half years taking care of others loved ones. Most of that time has entailed 24/7 live-in. My experiences range from 2 years for a lovely stroke victim who was confined to a wheelchair and had 4 dogs; 1 year to a beautiful 94-year-old who had extreme dementia, heart problems, and had broken her neck in 3 different areas. A 95-year-old with severe COPD, on oxygen, and legally blind. Another beautiful soul who had cancer, diabetes and succumbed to pneumonia. Another patient who was severely burned, another spectacular lady who was 96 with severe dementia/Alzheimer's and very stubborn. Another who was at the very end of life and the family just needed that one on one care. I also worked with another just making sure he ate and had company in the evening. I try to engage my patients with activities, movies, puzzles, the internet (card games) books, drawing/painting (which some really love) or just going out to dinner, a lovely walk in the morning or evening going to the mall or a splendid walk along the ocean (one of my patients absolutely loved Disneyland). I've always communicated well with the families and have many references. I would be interested in working full-time, part-time or just on call. My lovely lady passed on August 6th, and I took some time off for myself which included travel, I'm now fully refreshed and ready to help another family with their loved one. Hello! My name is Lily. I have cared for children for 10+ years. I spent about a year in NJ as a live-in nanny for a family with three children (ages 3, 4 and 7), and have since been working for them. I was a preschool teacher for three years at small wonders learning center in Sparks, NV while I studied Early Childhood Education. Additionally, my pediatric CPR certification is current!
