I am an incoming senior pre-dental student at the University of Texas at Austin. I have experience caring for my cousins (ages 3-13), being a youth tennis camp counselor, and traveling to elementary schools to provide free dental care to children. I started caring for seniors as a Girl Scout at retirement homes. I also spent time with my grandma helping her as a widow. When my mom got cancer in 2007 and became bedridden, I cared for her. In my spare time, I play with grandkids, help vets with bingo at the VA Med Cntr, and sing in church choir. As a retired teacher I read and grow veggies. Though hobbies are fun, I want to get back to helping our super seniors and will go the extra mile with joy to be helpful to you and your loved one! I've had about 10 years of experience working with kids. I was a summer camp counselor for 7 years, helping children learn cooperation, collaboration, emotional regulation, and other skills through activities including sports, swimming, and art.
