I got my first baby sitting certification when I was 13 and started caring for children of family friends or teachers. I got my first job at age 16 in a daycare. I have worked with newborns through age 12. I also have a 8-year-old son. I am now 27 years old, so I have plenty of experience working with children. I have been CPR/first aid certified for the past 10 years. I am currently a marketing manager, but would love to work with children as well because I always thought it was extremely rewarding watching them grow and seeing the great little humans they become.

I would love the opportunity to be your occasional or backup child care provider. I'm currently providing care for infants up to 5 years old. I'm the mother of 2 adult sons, ages 34 and 26 and have cared for many children of all ages throughout the years. I like to interact with children, whether on the floor playing, reading, playing games, going to events, or activities outside. I like to provide structure, yet allow children the freedom to safely express themselves. In addition to caring for your child, I have experience caring for pets, willing to do light cleaning and meal preparation. My interest include doing all kinds of crafts, reading, kayaking, and hiking.

Dear parent(s), My name is Mandy. I am 29 and a college graduate. I own a beautiful black lab named Eli and a sweet rabbit named Mercy. A few of my hobbies and favorite activities are reading, photography, taking walks with my dog, and cooking/baking. I use art, science, computer games, videos, play dough, shaving cream, writing, reading, and cooperative learning in my centers. I love to organize activities and think outside of the box to aid each student in learning what they need to learn. Not only have I taught, but I have also babysat and volunteered at my church s nursery taking care of babies. I have taken a class on SIDS, and First Aid. I am CPR certified. As your child's/children's nanny, I would increase their vocabulary, math skills, reading skills, and broaden their horizons helping them become a well rounded individual. At least once a week, I would take your child/children on an outing such as the Zoo, Wonderscope, library, Science City, Sea Life, Deanna Rose Children s Farmstead, children's museums, and the park. Everyday, your child/children will follow a routine with plenty of fun educational opportunities and free play so they can express themselves. Your child/children would do science experiments, be read to, practice their math and reading skills at their developmental level, cook, play games, learn about art and social studies, and learn through song. I am looking for a long-term nanny position. I want to be an extension of your family. I have enjoyed teaching, but I am looking for a position where I can enrich a child's life on a more one on one basis than what teaching affords me. For over the past two decades, I have cared for every age group from newborn infant to teen. I'm very structured when it comes to mealtimes and bedtimes, but very unstructured when it comes to letting a child expand their creativity through free play. I worked as a direct support professional for six years, assisting adult men in a group home. While these were developmentally disabled men, I am ready to be of assistance to seniors living in their own homes. I have about 50 yrs of experience with kids from 1 month (twins) to teens. I was a church nursery director for 5 yrs. I'm CPR/1st Aid Cert. I have reliable transportation as well as character. I have a BS degree in Home Ec and an AA in Early Childcare. I have also taken & passed a Safe Gatherings course through the United Methodist denomination, allowing me to work with infants/toddlers/teens. I do not smoke/drink. I charge a minimum of $15/hr and require at least 3 hrs/job. I just retired from the Wichita Public Schools after 31 years of teaching middle schoolers.
