I am a responsible, fun and loving 29yr-old 2nd grade teacher. I am CPR certified and I have a lot of experience with children. Among them are working with autistic children, working at the YMCA, working at day cares and interning at a facility, and last but not least - volunteering at my local library for numerous years. I would be more than happy to care for your child.

I am a teacher who has taught preschool and elementary in both the public and private school setting. I have my Bachelor's and Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. I am looking for something part-time, but I am also interested in full-time as well. I am not currently employed as we have just relocated from Georgia in June 2021. I have a son who is 10 and a daughter who is 7 years old. My ideal opportunity is one in which I can assist with home-school/virtual school during the day while my kids are at school. I love babies, and have had a lot of experience with them. I have been the nanny for a 3-week-old baby boy until he was age 5 (that was while my children were young). I have three children of my own who are now grown, and I have two grandsons. In the past 6 years, I have taken care of children from a few months old to 6 years of age. We can negotiate the price. I have an early childhood degree. I love to do lots of activities with children. I make up games to help them learn their letters and sounds before they reach age 3. I love to do art projects with them and do holiday crafts. I love to swim, if your neighborhood has a pool. I have taught many children how to swim. As an older sister, I have always been in charge of creating the magic for my younger siblings. Seeing the joy in kid's faces when I pull out a coloring book from my babysitting kit is priceless. I have over 5 years of experience creating fun, and interesting activities for kids. Above all though, I care about what you as a parent choose for your kid(s). That is why I provide a short survey for the parents, to inform me of any allergies, sensitivities, and any other information a parent would like to provide. Currently I am working as a substitute teacher and while I love working as a substitute, I would love to have some consistency with the children I am working with. Bachelors in History from University of Georgia, Master's from University of Tennessee in Secondary Social Science Education, Ph. D. in Currículum and Instruction from Mercer University. (Dissertation in building positive relationships) Experience teaching teachers at the university level. Former soccer, basketball coach. Open to helping students in social studies, or with writing high school or college papers, and college admissions essays. Experience with kids k-12 but mostly high school! AP Psychology Teacher so, knowledgeable and sensitive to different learner types, learning disabilities, stress and anxiety in students and methods to try to address some of these issues.
