I am passionate about caring for those with special needs, because I believe that they should be able to get the same opportunities that people without special needs would get.

Over the last decade, I've worked in various roles as a mental/behavioral health professional and integrative care provider. These experiences created opportunities to work closely with individuals and families in times of challenge, healing, and transition. Through these roles, I learned to create space for the unique and varied lived experiences of children and adolescents, aging adults, those experiencing Alzheimer's/dementia, and those nearing end-of-life. My educational background is in holistic health studies with a focus on the human-nature relationship. I strive to work intentionally alongside those whom I am serving by approaching my work with curiosity, sensitivity, patience, and presence. I recently relocated to the area, and I am looking for part time employment as I work to develop various independent and collaborative projects.

I am originally from small town ND, where I grew up helping raise my younger brother and working at the local daycare. During this time I worked closely with newborns all the way up to school aged children. After turning 18 I sought out training and became a DSP caring for children with special needs. I developed a genuine love for kids, and now hope to find a career in childcare. I've been a student at Hamline University and a professional nanny since 2017. I have maintained long term positions caring for infants, twin newborns, twin toddlers, multiples, and school aged kids. I additionally worked as a 'house manager', providing transportation, errand completion, and housekeeping for a family. I pride myself on being patient, flexible, and knowledgeable about children. I now reside in the Minneapolis area with my partner and two adorable, tabby cats. I'm hoping to find some kids to connect with and grow to love.

I have worked with multiple families during COVID tutoring in house when their school was virtual - literacy assistance and math up to grade 7. I have also worked in literacy intervention for elementary schools.

My passion for aging started as a young child. My mother, a life long caregiver for older adults would frequently bring me to her client's homes and I learned how to engage with older adults. She taught me how to be patient and provide above and beyond care. My first job was working as a resident aide in an assisted living facility and have worked as a caregiver on and off while going to college and starting my professional career. In Minnesota I gained Certified Nurse's Assistant accreditation and I am currently getting a master's certificate in Innovations in Aging. I have experience with Dementia, People living with Disabilities, Medicine Management, Transfers, Meal Preparation, Adaptive Exercise, Errands/Appointments, and Activities and Engagement. My caregiving style is informed by providing choice and autonomy to the clients I work with. I am committed to provide the best care possible for my clients because I envision the same quality of care for myself when I am older.

Hello! My name is Jasmine and I'm originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota. I moved to Brooklyn about 3 years ago to expand my career in education! After 7 years teaching Kindergarten and 1st grade (which I loved) and receiving my Master of Arts in Childhood Education, I decided to transition out of the classroom and switch gears to private childcare; where I can provide an experience more tailored to children's individual needs. I also have a plethora of experience working with children (0-8) through a home daycare center, homeschooling and after school programs as well (K-12). Not only do I provide mentorship, I am a huge advocate for enrichment activities as I've coached cheer and dance in grades K-8. I am currently a Part-Time Caregiver with Care @ Work but I am looking for recurring part-time positions and/or a Full-Time position if it is the right fit. I have four younger sisters and several young cousins, so I'm used to helping out with several kids. I have cared for up to seven children at a time. I've been babysitting and nannying for over a decade. I also volunteered as a coach in a kids soccer camp two summers in high school. Hi, my name is Genevieve! I am a preschool teacher looking to transition back to nannying after six years at my position. I am interested in child development, love to be outside, as well as engage in crafting, messy play, and music! Before I became a preschool teacher I had been a nanny for a variety of families including infant twins, children with autism, siblings, older children, etc. I have maintained relationships with some of these families and my favorite thing is when former nanny children or preschool children see me at the park with my preschool class.
