Hi! I'm a mom of four looking to work part-time(possibly full-time) with a family! I nannied when I was younger from 18-25 until I had my firstborn. I have a blended family now. My husband and I have 13, 12, 10, and 6-year-olds. They are all in school so I have a lot of free time. A long-term commitment would be ideal however I'm open to all opportunities. I am a registered nurse. I have experience in the ICU setting. I am CPR certified. I have experience with children of just about all ages. I have the most experience the ages from 0-8. Infants are my favorite age. I have watched up to 7 children at a time for long hours, including doing the night routine (homework, dinner, bathes, bed). I have also cared for two children for an entire weekend, meeting all of their needs. I am not an electronic person & prefer to allow minimal screen time.

I have been babysitting since the age of 15 for family and have been a nanny since the age of 17. I am the youngest of six, so I now have 13 nieces and nephews ranging from 3 years to 27 years old that I have cared for (and still help care for). Every nanny job I have had has brought me new experiences and a lot of joy! I also was an after school program teacher at an elementary school where I was in charge of the kindergarten class with up to 25 children at a time. This gave me a lot of experience with dealing with many different personalities at one time, by myself. I have been with three families long term that were all great. I was responsible for picking children up from school, taking them to after school activities, helping with homework, cooking, cleaning, doing laundry, etc. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Marketing from KSU in 2015 and after trying my hand in the corporate world have felt drawn back to children.

I have experience working with the special needs population. I Was a one on one caregiver. I was a residential summer camp counselor for 6 years. A few summers ago I was the assistant director of that program. I was a nanny for a family with two young kids with special needs. I am now a teachers assistant in a special needs classroom in the school system. I have been working in the school system for 10 years. I have experience working with persons of all ages and varying disabilities (Severe/Profound Intellectual Disabilities to mild learning disabilities) including Epilepsy, Down Syndrome, Autism, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, ADD/ADHD, Asthma, Developmentally Challenged, Diabetes, Hearing Impaired, Physically Challenged, and those with a visual Impairment.

I have had cats and dogs for a majority of my life so I am skilled in caring for them from litter box cleaning to feeding to walking dogs. I have also watched the neighbor's dog and cat while they went on vacation for a fee.
