We are looking for a loving nanny with infant care experience and is CPR certified. I am a stay at home and will be in/out of house throughout the day. The role will be based at the house with just the baby in the morning and sometimes the 2-year-old/4-year-old in the afternoon. You would never have 3 at once. The family has two sweet and imaginative girls ages 4 and 8 who love arts and crafts, being outdoors, and using their imaginations to go on adventures. The family is looking for a patient, kind, yet firm nanny who can handle the highs and lows that comes with a strong-willed and smart child. Both children can at times push limits and need someone who knows how to appropriately diffuse those situations. During the school year, the 8-year-old will be attending in person learning on a traditional schedule (when schools are open for in person learning), and their youngest will be attending a learning pod in the mornings. They are looking for someone who is proactive and willing to help keep their lives organized by coming before the kids are picked up to help with laundry, unloading/loading the dishwasher, tidying up toys and clothes, meal prep or to pick up groceries occasionally, etc. They would love someone who understands what it looks like to run a busy household who can learn what things are helpful and be proactive about doing those things as time allows. Their ideal nanny would have a clean driving record and vehicle to transport the children to activities once things are safer with COVID. The family also has a cat. Both parents do work from home, and aside from their daughter attending school masked, they have a tight bubble and avoid being out in public right now. They are hoping to find a nanny who is taking COVID seriously as well. The typical schedule during the school year would be 1:30pm-6:30 p.m. Monday-Friday with a guarantee for 30 hours a week. They are also flexible if a nanny preferred to come a few hours in the morning for household duties instead. The bare minimum in the afternoon would be 2pm-6 p.m. During the summer they prefer a 9am-5 p.m. schedule. They do not know for sure how the hours will shift in the fall, however, they do know that they are looking for a long-term fit and plan at minimum to guarantee 30 hours a week. I need someone to pick up my daughter from our home Monday-Friday morning and take her to school. I need that same person to pick her up from school and take her to a local activity on Monday and Wednesday evenings and drop off at our home Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. All locations are within 20 minutes of each other. We are a family of four, but our older daughter goes to preschool during the day. I work from home Tuesday mornings and I am in the office Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday all day. My husband does have a flexible work schedule but works full time. We value trustworthiness, experience, punctuality, good communication, pro-activity, and good communication. For now, this may be a short term opportunity with the potential to become long term. We have an older, very laid back Bernese Mountain dog mix named Percy, who will be a constant companion as well.
