The caregiver would be responsible for picking up our kids from their daycare around 5 p.m. and bringing them back to our home for dinner and evening routine. My husband and I both have jobs that require long commutes several days a week and are hoping to find someone to help ease the stress of fighting Austin traffic and late work hours on these days. Our kids are 5 (girl) and 2 (boy). They are fun, energetic and happy to engage with others. We are an easygoing family with lots of room to play outside (3 acres)! We also have 2 friendly dogs. This is our first child so we are very new to all of this. We have 3 pets, two loving chihuahuas and a cat that mainly will hide and sleep all day. We are going to be finding our new normal as my husband and I both work from home and I would like to have a nanny to watch the baby, do light housekeeping and meal prep while we are working. 2 days a week is what we are looking for to start but that will eventually increase to 3 and so on. Patience, kindness and ability to go with the flow is a plus. Our ideal caregiver: Knowledgeable about infants and toddlers behaviors and schedules. Additional needs include light housekeeping, meal prep, having a reliable car, being comfortable with pets and a non-smoker. Looking for a caregiver for my infant son.
