Hello! We have a newborn, and I am heading back to work. Our son K will be 5 in October and my daughter J will be 3 in January. We need help keeping our two oldest kids occupied with afternoon activities while my wife is occupied with our newborn son, L. K enjoys sports and playing outside. J enjoys trying to keep up with her brother, playing with dolls, being outside and independent play. An ideal afternoon would be playing with them at our house outside, swimming in the spa or pool, taking them to the park, maybe an occasional local activity (museum, ice cream), taking them to a near by park. A single-mom to a sweet, happy, and energetic 6-year-old boy needing after school care. Will need pick up from school so own transportation is required. Our First grader loves sports and play, currently into basketball and soccer. He also loves to sing and listen to music. He is showing interest in playing the piano although a proper lesson with a piano teacher is still in the works! We limit tablet use and video games for the weekend. We prefer reading and some workbook or homework activity. But we also love play! Boy is interested in sports, basketball and soccer is a favorite. He needs help with homework, and staying focused and less distractions (toys, tv, video games) til homework is done. Patience and creative would be wonderful and helpful for the energetic boy. We have a parking garage as own transportation is required for pick up in school. No pets at home.

Our first baby (girl) is due on August 26th. We live in Martinez, CA and are excited to start our family. We are looking for a full-time long term nanny to begin roughly mid-January 2024 (the baby will be about 4-5 months.) We understand that is months away, but we wanted to begin looking now to help reduce stress later. Our work schedules are a hybrid of working from home and being in the office (so most days we may be home working). Finding a nanny sooner than later will be extremely helpful, so that when the baby is born we can focus on her.
