(Mobile, AL) family seeking a private 1-on-1 teacher to homeschool a bright and curious 2nd grader. Must be enthusiastic about early elementary education and interested in following a daily routine that includes dedicated time for writing/spelling, reading, math, and lots of hands-on history/geography & science activities. Lots of bike rides, neighborhood exploration, and local excursions are strongly encouraged. Montessori experience is a bonus as our kiddo is accustomed to a Montessori environment and we have many Montessori inspired math, literacy, and cultural materials at our home for her use, as well as a Montessori-based curriculum outlined for next year.
