I am in need of Writing Tutor for my 9th grade boys starting September 1. They need help with writing mechanics-developing ideas, organizing their essays, grammar, punctuation. Tutoring will be in person and take place in Davis. Afternoon or evening 2 times. Due to COVID-19 health precautions, students will wear masks, meet with you outside and follow social distancing protocol. Qualifications: English or related BA or MA. You love the process of writing and can bring that joy to your time with the boys. You can provide techniques for researching, planning, brainstorming, drafting, revising and editing. You are knowledgeable in various forms of writing, can provide opportunities for boys to experiment with their writing processes, and skilled in techniques for modifying writing styles for different audiences and formats.

We are two neighbor families seeking to pod together and hire a tutor for the fall to assist with distance learning curriculum in an outdoor classroom environment (backyards). The ideal candidate will have experience with elementary age students as well as autism. Our two families consist of two incoming kindergarten students (one with ASD), a 2nd grade student, and a 3rd grade student with ASD. At least one parent will always be available to assist. Two families involved with one parent in each family a physician. We wear masks and all the appropriate PPE, and both of our families practice strict social distancing. We are a happy group with friendly doodle dogs who would also love to join the mix but can be kept inside. Salary commensurate with experience. Hours flexible.

Local family needs a Spanish tutor for junior high and high school sons to assist one to two days per week with homework and language practice. Most afternoons of the week will work. Reach out and let's see what we can coordinate.
