Seeking a full time sitter around May to roughly the end of August. My current full-time sitter is expecting :) There are two children in the home, they are 7 years old (twins). Both have Autism so being familiar with this diagnosis would be very helpful. A regular routine helps them best. Hours will vary based on what my husband is working that week. Typical hours will be no longer than 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Must be comfortable with pets as there are dogs and a cat in the home. Oh and if you are a fit and know how to potty train.... PERFECT! :)

Hello! I am seeking a very positive and fun sitter for my 13 y. o. special needs son (he's very fun!) I am a busy nurse practitioner and my husband works out of town. The days needed are Tues, Wed, and Thurs from 6:45am- 5:30-6:00 p.m. .; some of these days in the summer are negotiable. These are summer hours only, but once school starts, I need someone to get him off the bus at 3:00 and stay until about 5:30-6:00. If available for summer only, that still helps me out. Our son is such a fun and sweet boy. He has some auditory processing difficulties but overall does very well with no behavior issues. He loves to have fun and we would like someone who is will to interact with him a lot and do fun things. We have pets in the house so must love animals like we do! We are looking for a great babysitter for 1 special needs teen in Shelby. We would prefer a babysitter who has their own car, who does not smoke and who is comfortable with pets. We are looking for a fun, lighthearted person who can be with our son after school. He is a fun kid who enjoys laughs and jokes. He has developmental delays and needs minimal assistance. Our son is 14 and is pretty self reliant but we are looking for someone to meet him off the bus between 3-3:15 and help him with a snack if needed. He is high functioning but needs the presence of someone reliable with him until we get home from work. If you're fun and into playing, he would love that. The day would be until about 6:30-7:00. Mondays and Thursdays for sure with occasional Wednesdays depending on my work load. And of course, must enjoy animals!

My son is special needs. Primarily looking for help watching kids for appointments. He has weekly appointments so would be frequent help but not always a lot of hours.
