About who needs care: Developmental disability. 2 adults, 20 years old with autism need supervision and assistance with grooming, hygiene, very light meal prep, medication and helps facilitated wants and needs throughout the day. Light housekeeping but only related to their day's happenings. They spend the majority of their day solitary and enjoy listening to music and playing games and watching videos on their tablet. Much of their day is self-directed and quiet. They also enjoy swimming when the weather is good and hanging out outside in the backyard. One of them loves soap and showering and spends a good amount of time in the shower. About the care needs: someone who is kind, patient, positive, calm, detail oriented, good sense of humor, problem solver, and observant. There is really no special training. Its a matter of learning shier routine and how to communicate with them. They are non-verbal. If you have experience with those with Autism or other developmental delays would be helpful but not necessary. Willingness to learn and to be helpful. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.

Our daughter, 27, has Down syndrome and we are going out of town for a week. She needs daily rides to her day program and work. She's fairly independent but needs assistance. She loves movies, yoga, arts and crafts, going places, pedicures, eating out and more. I'm looking for someone who can stay in our home and care for her for the week. Ideally someone who has experience with those with special needs.

Looking for a caregiver for our twin adult 20-year-old sons with Autism in Dallas. Supervise boys and manage their daily schedule at home on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Hours M-F from 7:30a-6p Must be comfortable with special needs Have Transportation and willing to take to location on Mon-Tues (split shift) 7a-9:30 a.m. and then 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday hours 7a to 6p Saturdays optional. No Sundays CPR, CNA preferred Okay with preparing small meals
