Molly is timid and shy and needs a lot of warmth and patience. She is warming up to people and is quite sweet when she does, it just takes a little extra time.
While my work is somewhat flexible, there are certain times I cannot find coverage to be with her. We are mostly looking for someone to come and spend time with her while we are away - she usually does her own thing (sleeping, looking out the window).
She occasionally will bark to get attention, however she has never been aggressive towards people in my family or her foster mom's family.
Molly is between heart worm treatments, so until the end of March keeping her as calm as possible is our top priority. She may be a little nervous, however she is on medications to keep her calm. We will administer any medications she needs.
She is not supposed to play, run, or take walks longer than 10 minutes - right now we are walking her in our back yard. We request double leashes when she goes outside - she does well on them, may be a little skittish but using a calm voice is very helpful.
Molly lives with 2 cats and 1 ferret. She rarely notices the cats and is honestly afraid of the ferret. We supervise her interactions with them. In her foster home, she had 2 other dogs and got along with them very well.
We have off-street parking.
