We are looking for someone to care for our two Guinea Pigs, Claude and Morrissey. We are specifically looking for someone already familiar with Guinea Pigs or willing to become a fan! Our little guys are very interactive and accustomed to human interaction. As such, we need three visits per day (we'd also be happy with a home sitting arrangement that included care for the piggies). Care includes cleaning their cage, refreshing food (pellets) and water, and preparing one fresh veggie meal per day. It's a lot like caring for dogs (except they don't need to go outside).

I would also like you to grab the mail and if it is trash/recycling day, put the bins out on the curb and/or bring them back in. The most important part of the job is giving the cats some human attention every day. One cat is a lovely 19 yo mostly blind and deaf calico and the other a sweet 11 yo male gray kitty. Seeking a dog-sitter who can do both day visits and overnights on occasion. No regular schedule, but I have an older Plott hound mutt who can't be boarded anymore. He requires medicine three times a day and someone who can sleep in the room with him (he has his own bed) and provide company and care on the occasions when I go out of town or have local overnights. He is a sweet, gentle giant. Experience with elderly dogs is a plus, and having your own transportation and being a Non-smoker are musts.
