We are a young family who has recently moved to the Central Valley. Mom has been home with the littles since moving here in December but has accepted a job in August for the school year and so needs some extra assistance with the tiny humans of the house. It would be from 1:00-6:30 Monday-Friday every week. The 11-month-old and the 4-year-old would be at home with you and the almost 6-year-old goes to school and will need to be picked up from school and brought home. Playtime until dinner. About who needs care: 72 y. o. male who had a stroke 2 years ago and is paralyzed on the left side and bedridden. Patient has a feeding tube where water and food connect and drip slowly/automatically. Changes and baths are done in the bed and a lift is used to move patient into wheelchair for a change of scenery. Patient is able to speak. Patient sleeps a lot of the day but likes to joke around and talk when awake. The care consists of giving meds at a timely manner, assisting wife with changes and baths, sitting with patient while wife goes to work. About the care needs: Not easily offended as patient sometimes doesn't have a filter. This is a very old school man who was very hard working and independent up until his massive stroke. His wife (my mom) is very sweet and sensitive and in order to keep paying the bills and running the household, has to continue to work. We are looking for a quick learner, someone who is reliable and content with just sitting around most of the day. Any help with daily housework is appreciated but not required. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.

I work nights and my husband works days. My husband is having a difficult time in the evening with our little guy. He just cries for hours with him. I just need someone to assist my husband and maybe guide him in the ways of babies until he feels comfortable to do it on his own. Hi, I will be in the Davis area to work in my office for two days and need a reliable babysitter to watch my three children and help with their online schooling at the hotel. I don't live in Davis but am in the area regularly to go to the office and given all schooling is remote and my regular babysitter is moving soon, I may need this person's assistance in the future as well! I have 2 girls (4 and 6) and a boy (about to be 10). I am looking for a sitter that is mature, punctual and an excellent communicator.
