About who needs care: Molly is Diabetic, has high blood pressure, and has mobility, arthritis and incontinence issues. She uses a Walker and wears depends. She lives in an old home where bathroom is upstairs and laundry is in the basement which she cant safely get too. Her bed and a portable commode is in the living room for safety and convenience. She self cleans herself at the kitchen sink. She can only use the microwave for cooking. She needs assistance down stairs to appointments but other than that, she wont leave the house or answer the door. We would provide a key to get in. We are looking for someone to help with light cleaning, take trash out and meal prep, change bedding and do a load of laundry, and make sure shes taking meds, drinking water, and cleaning herself and doing light exercise. Her two children do live in town, but she does live alone. She has a good mind and pretty chatty. Looking for two or three days a week
About the care needs: Caring, helpful caregiver that would be comfortable with making a meal, doing light cleaning and and providing company while there. Her only interest is word search puzzle books, and tv. She used to garden and can a lot.
Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.
