Hello! We are looking for a long term nanny/childcare provider for our 3-month-old (our only child). We have one senior dog who will be in the house but no assistance is needed with the dog. One parent will be in the house working from home with music students. Presently we are looking for help on Monday and Wednesday afternoons, plus potentially some Friday hours as an option.

My father can bathe himself; however, he would like someone to be here for "insurance" while he showers as he has MS and may fall. He may need assistance putting on socks after the shower or light dressing if he is weak. Typically 45 min-hour appointment. Light housekeeping may including taking a bag to the trash chute in the hall or something small around the house to help him out, nothing big!

About who needs care: My husband is in his early 80's and has had Parkinsons for 14 years. He's smart, funny, good natured and highly motivated. Example does daily exercise for his balance, strength, and core. He eats and showers by himself and only needs minor help with dressing (e. g. buttons on his shirt etc). About the care needs: My husband's primary challenges are with his voice (due to Parkinson's - hard for him to project) and fall risk due to balance and gait. He loves to take walks. One note: His Parkinson's actually makes it hard for him to slow down his pace -- so will need someone who can keep up! Primary Services needed include: companionship, mobility assistance, medication prompts. Providing transportation periodically and occasional meal prep would be fantastic as well.

We have two energetic daughters (5 and 3) and are expecting a baby in March. My husband travels a good bit so I need assistance. I stay at home but need extra help especially because of the needs of the newborn. It will vary from week to week but can be arranged according to what suits both our family and the caregiver.
