We need hands-on care to help my father, take care of my mother, in Cape Canaveral. Some help needed with bathroom, dressing, feeding and conversation. Please have experience assisting with limited mobility due to Parkinson's. In wheelchair, recliner or bed.

About who needs care: Had right hemisphere stroke which created limited mobility on the left extremities. He need assistance bathing, meal prep, companion, and occasional transportation to medical appointments and shopping when I am not available or work deployed. About the care needs: My dad speaks English and Spanish. They should be pleasant and able to carry a casual conversation. He like art, drawing and has a small mini pincher dog that will eventually return to his home. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.

About who needs care: Diabetic, has balance issues, needs assistance in the bathroom, takes medication daily, is legally blind (can see some but has vision problems). He naps a lot and watches TV, used to like to read but cant due to vision problems. My mother is his main caretaker but shes his age and she cant do it alone anymore. He is heavy and needs help getting in and out of his chair. About the care needs: Someone who can work with a grumpy person, thick skinned because his jokes can be off color at times, compassionate, strong, knowledgeable about transfers and able to assist with wiping in bathroom., maybe help with meds, some food prep and laundry and or changing sheets. Services needed include: mobility assistance.

About who needs care: Mom is a cancer survivor with COPD and needs assistance with her daily tasks like walking, cooking, eating, bathing, light housekeeping, etc. Her day is fairly simple. She likes to spend her time watching TV, reading, and sitting on the smoking and talking to friends and family. First, I am looking for someone PT who can fill in for me when I have errands to run for about 3-5 hrs. give or take about once a week, days will vary. My husband and I also periodically need FT care for her when we take trips or have family visiting. Specifically we need someone at the end of September and the beginning of October, around Thanksgiving, and a couple weeks at the beginning of 2023. There may also be other times as well. We are flexible with using various caregivers as schedules are ever-changing for all.
