I work from home for time being. Once things return to normal, I will be working from Kenai Tuesday through Thursday. We have two dogs, a cat and live about 15 minutes from Soldotna. Our family sticks pretty close to home, the baby loves exploring outside and reading. She also seems interested in Montessori-style activities when awake. She also loves helping to cook and sweep/mop. She takes a 1 to 2. 5 hour nap at 1 p.m. If the caregiver could do a few light housekeeping things for part of that time, like laundry or prepping dinner, that would be amazing. We eat whole foods and also eat almost all of our meals at home. Our ideal caregiver: Calm and caring person who loves to read, go on walks and doesn't mind dogs. It would be ideal to find someone open to creating Montessori-style activities and art projects. Looking for a long term nanny for two young children in our home in Soldotna. Candidate must have driver's license, their own transportation, previous childcare experience, and be CPR certified. We are looking for someone who is professional and reliable. Responsibilities include meal prep and feeding the children, light cleanup of meals, bathing, and indoor/outdoor play. The ideal candidate is also willing to take the children to the library, playground, and go on walks. We do not implement tv during the day so time must be spent doing crafts, educational activities, and listening to music. The schedule is Tuesdays and Fridays 7am-3 p.m. In September or October one more 8 hour day will be added to the weekly schedule. Weekly hours will be between 20-24 hours.
