We are looking for a great babysitter for 1 child in Muncie. We would prefer someone who could help out with homework help. We would prefer a babysitter who has their own car, who does not smoke and who is comfortable with pets. This is part time. I am really hoping for a college student from BSU who is on the same schedule as my daughter as we will need care over breaks. That doesn't mean don't apply if you are not BSU student. I just figured it would be easier. My daughter goes to school and is in the 3rd grade. I work from home so this will be occasional care and then possible date nights. Looking towards this working out for the summer as well. My daughter is easy going. Has a few issues with eating food (very picky and has a selective list) but other then that she just needs someone to hang out with while we work.

Our daughter loves to play outside, read books, and play pretend. The position is 2 days a week from 8:30-2:30 - one week it is Monday Tuesday, then the next week is Wednesday Thursday. Then that cycle repeats. My wife works from home in a separate part of the house. Additional hours available if needed.

About who needs care: I have mobility problems (trouble standing and walking). I am diabetic and on blood thinners. I collect old toys and collectibles. I'm an artist but can no longer do most of the basic physical things I would like to do. I love to cook but it is getting harder to do so. Cleaning is a big problem. My ideal day would be to get moving in the mid-morning and relax around the house. I have trouble getting to medical appointments. About the care needs: A caregiver that could support me around the house two to three days a week, minor cleaning, and provide aid if necessary (dressing for example). Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.

Hi! I have an 11-year-old mildly autistic child who can take care of himself for most things, he does not normally need disciplined and does not need attention when he comes home from school. I have a 3-year-old toddler who needs a lot of attention and acknowledgement and he is very sensitive so mostly need "gentle parenting" techniques if possible when being disciplined. We have cat who is pretty shy. I am currently pregnant so will need baby caregiver soon as well. I do work from home so on my breaks I will be in the main living room with everyone but most times I will be in my own area taking calls. I tried to give as much information as possible of what to expect with our family!
