About the care needs: We are looking for someone who would spend some time engaging with my mom, perhaps strolling around the yard with her (she loves the birds that flock to the feeders), helping with crosswords, reading, sitting on the front porch with a cup of coffee or tea. Also someone who could run errands (pick up prescriptions, groceries, etc.) and prepare meals and make sure she's taking her few medications and vitamins. Perhaps some light housework/laundry. Also a good listener, someone who doesn't mind hearing about the good ol' days in Page County. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
