A love of the outdoors is a must, as we live on a farm-in-the-making and the boys spend a lot of time playing in the dirt and exploring the meadows and woods around our home. Hello! We need hands-on care to take care of my sweet father in Friday Harbor. He is a stroke victim and his left side is non-responsive/paralyzed. He needs support when walking. Responsibilities include getting him up in the morning, getting him dressed, help with stability/mobility and feeding. After morning getting ready and breakfast, he will snooze. If he's awake we're looking for someone to provide companionship. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained. He's kind and easy-going. We have a very busy toddler and 2 small friendly dogs so when we have you, we ask that you are amenable to the dogs being around and could give them an occasional potty break. A. is becoming opinionated and has a very fun, sweet side but is also quite mischievous at times. .
