Bedford, VA Part Time Jobs

My husband and I are looking for a part time nanny beginning in November! We live in the Bedford area, and we have a one and a half year old daughter. We are also preparing for our son to arrive in December. We would need assistance with our daughter beginning in November, but care for our son would begin late January/early February. I work from home, but would love to have someone help with making lunch, going on walks, and entertaining my daughter (and eventually son) with educational activities that I would have prepared. I would still be home to help in between my meeting sessions that I have for work, but an extra set of eyes and hands would be amazing! The job would be Tuesdays-Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 pm, with occasional Mondays and Fridays for 2-3 hours if I have scheduled meetings. CPR certification is required. Our daughter loves to read books, walk outside, play with indoor water toys, do art projects, and help around the house. She enjoys spending time with her family, and being held to watch a movie or do an activity. She is advanced in her abilities, and creative with her ideas to find entertainment! Our daughter is still in the process of putty training. Additionally, she will need assistance with diaper changes, structured play time, and maintaining a consistent nap time. We have one dog who is a full bred border collie named Koda. He is gentle, loves everyone, and likes to play with our daughter who enjoys throwing his ball in the living room for him to catch, or snuggling on the couch.

I just had a long time sitter move away so I need someone to watch my two girls after school on every other Thursday and Friday. Occasionally on Wednesdays and if they don't have school then it's a full day starting at 7 a.m. The kids love playing and doing puzzles coloring etc. Very easy going kids. I just want someone who is good with kids and is reliable. I live in an apartment so plenty of parking No pets

One level, easy the living room and kitchen is one open room then there are 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. I need help with dishes, laundry and just keeping things put away. I'm a full time working mom and feel like I'm drowning in chores. Just need someone to help with my daily chores so I don't have to spend my whole weekend cleaning Needs own transportation 3 dogs, 1 strictly outside Rottweiler, 1 that's goes in and out chocolate lab he's old, 1 Boston Terrier pup inside.

Job includes getting her off the bus during school days and caring for her until 6 p.m. This includes feeding, changing, transferring and entertaining. Although she is 9 years old, cognitively she is about 6-9months old. She is unable to walk so an ability to lift approx 60lbs is a must. We will be getting a lift installed this fall however. She is very laid back and loves to hang out and watch Ms Rachel. This would be the perfect position for a college student who would benefit from getting school work done during her down time. Pay is $12. 78/hr through Consumer Direct but there will be opportunities to make an additional $15/hr if willing to help with two other children, 5 & 3.

Hello! I am seeking a sitter for my two sons, B (18 months) and L (2 months). I work from home as a remote special education teacher, and am looking for help M-F from 8-12:00 as I will be on virtual teaching during this time. Duties required involved dressing, entertaining, reading stories, playing, and feeding snacks/lunch. Additionally, if there is downtime if the boys are napping, light housework such as help with cleaning bottles, doing dishes, and folding a basket of laundry would be amazing! My elder son, B, loves to play pretend, and enjoys music and hands on activities. My younger son, L, likes to swing, be swaddled, and have warm bottles! They are both super sweet, easy to get along with, and enjoy the company of others. Our family has a border collie. He is an indoor dog, and is not aggressive at all! He loves to play ball, have belly rubs, and cuddle. He spends most of the day sleeping/resting by the window.
