About Zoie

I'd describe my personality as creative, funny and caring. I like working with kids because they are so creative at a young age and don't worry about everyday adult life so their brain is more open and free to any possibilities that they are willing to try. I started working with kids when I was 16 where I used to babysit a 3 and 1-year-old. Then February of 2023 I got a job at a school in Decatur in the Extended Day Program, which is just like a school day where they do work but there's different ages so they can connect with older or younger kids. In November of 2023 I became a Spec. Ed. TA with K-6 students. My skills include being patient with kids because they don't always process the same as adults and need that extra time or push. I'm also compassionate and can have a bond with children and love them and help them in any way I can. I'm also creative, I can help do homework in ways that help them learn easier and more effective for them to understand the work I'm helping with.
