About Zoe

Hi! My name is Zoë, and I am reliable, creative, and fun-loving with 6+ years of childcare experience. I love working with kids because of the wonder and curiosity they walk through the world with! I am currently in my senior year of college at PSU, pursuing a BS in sociology. My mother is a teacher, and I have spent a significant amount of time working as an assistant with her, learning about early childhood education! I have worked for two families as a nanny, and done my fair share of babysitting as well. I have also worked in a variety of educational settings with kids ages 3 - 18, including tutoring middle- and high-schoolers, and teaching horseback riding lessons. I am queer and nonbinary, and very comfortable with neurodivergent kiddos. I believe that the best lessons are child-led, and I enjoy guiding kids to feel confident in themselves and their abilities using some Montessori-based techniques.
