About Ziyan

Hi, I'm ZiYan and I am a tutor with experience working with all age groups. I have a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (pre-med focus) from Augusta University. I also have an extensive background in scientific research, with a focus on neuroscience. I love to teach others and believe in using all resources available to succeed. Some subjects that I am familiar with include math, biology, chemistry (general & organic), biochemistry, physics, and social sciences. I also assist students with reading and writing. Methods I use to teach are always interactive, and I love when students follow along. I utilize whiteboards and dry erase markers, supplemental videos, online games, and give candy as a reward at the end of each session. I understand how challenging school can be as well as how valuable encouragement is for the development of skills. Part of my method is to keep a positive attitude, encourage students, and celebrate their successes.
