About Zitlaly

I started working with kids in high school. In a PALS program that would connect high school students with elementary kids. In this program we would help build up the children's self esteem by mentoring them. I also had a payed internship through the city of Austin, as a summer camp instructor with 4-6-year-olds via virtual during the pandemic. Recently last year, I was a substitute teacher for daycares, caring for 8-month-olds all up to 5-year-olds. In my spare time, if I'm done with my school work I would prefer to spend my time outside. Going on hikes, walking my dogs, inside activities I enjoy watching movies, reading, and going to the gym. My skills include being very patient. I've worked in the food industry it taught me to work through frustrating situations calmly. Attention to detail, sometimes it's difficult for kids to communicate, so it's important to notice their actions and emotions so you can help assess them. Additionally I've been CPR certified since high school.
