I'd describe my personality as warm, positive and engaging. I like tutoring because I like to see children grow and move towards their full potential. Tutoring allows for one on one focus and the ability to go deeper on a specific skill or topic. I'm looking for a job that provides the opportunity to work with a student who is motivated and looking to grow and improve. I am looking for a consistent opportunity over the summer to tutor and mentor a students growth. I have been teaching fifth grade for two years along with an additional year of student teaching. I am looking to extend my teaching into the summer months to help students continue to grow in a pivotal time of the year for them. One thing you should know about me is that I am an organized professional who likes to see progress and growth. My skills include providing children multiple ways to learn a skill or grasp a concept. Finally I set clear expectations for the student and what will be required to grow.
