About Yvonne

Seniors and their families have expressed that I have calmness about me. They like that I am very patient even during the most difficult moments. Along with being a wonderful Companion, I have been told that I maintain a family member's DIGNITY when taking care of personal matters (hygiene, wound changing, catheter maintenance, incontinence, changing colonoscopy bags and dental care). These abilities for giving care gives me a sense of satisfaction. In 2016, I chose to take refresher courses to update my skills and CNA (certified nursing assistant) and HHA (home health aide) certifications. I successfully passed my courses, with flying colors, in March 2016, and am now posted with the CDPH (California Department of Health). This education has added to my 10 plus of experience, which I look forward to sharing with new clients and their families.

Yvonne has been my dear friend, who is like family, for over 12 years. I have watched her give exceptional care to not only clients and their families, but to her own family as well. When my own mother had a series of strokes Yvonne was their to advise me on how best to care for her and aided in Mom's recovery each time. Also, watching Yvonne care for patients taught me a LOT on how to care for loved ones and my other friends. She is a wonderful caregiver and human being. Her compassion and professional skills are invaluable.
