About Yvonne

I have worked in different fields of child care over the years. My journey in child care first began at a daycare as the lead teacher of the 3-year-old classroom. As the lead teacher I was responsible for weekly lesson plans including stimulating and structural activities, consistent communication with parents on the Childs progress, and working at a 1:10 ratio. I later on worked for a family who was looking for a sitter. The baby was 8 months old when I started sitting for the family, and I had the pleasure of watching her blossom and thrive for a year and a half. My responsibilities were to assure her routine was maintained as well as providing educational playtime. My most recent experience in child care lead me to Gateway Pediatric where I worked with kiddos that have autism. My responsibilities were to follow the therapists assigned programs while working at a 1:1 ratio.
